Manchester Caribbean Carnival 2025 is coming!
The vibrant and much-anticipated Manchester Caribbean Carnival is set to return on August 9th and 10th, from 12pm to 8pm each day. After the resounding success of last year’s event, which attracted over 58,000 attendees, this year’s carnival promises to be even bigger and better. The two-day free event will be a family friendly celebration of community, heritage, and music taking place in the heart of the community at Alexandra Park, Manchester, 180 Russell Street, Manchester M16 7JL. Join us for J’ouvert and Parade Saturday 9th August 2025.

CARNIVAL HISTORY
The Manchester Caribbean Carnival is an annual festival that brings the Caribbean flavour and revelry for a weekend to Manchester through the sounds of Reggae, Calypso and Soca.

MASS BANDS
You can always expect to see visiting troupes at the carnival, and 2024 is no exception with 14 troupes taking part in the parade.

Carnival attracts a wide range of traders offering fantastical foods – Trinidadian ‘Roti’, and Guyanese ‘Pepper Pot’ are a must try – and spellbinding craft items and cultural dressings from all the islands.
